Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety (QCF)
This qualification is aimed at anyone working in the match day and events stewarding industry and will aid a learner develop their skills and knowledge in their job role. The qualification meets the requirements laid out in the Football Licensing Authority’s Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds (known as the Green Guide).
It provides the knowledge and competency components for the Intermediate Level Apprenticeship in Spectator Safety.
Topics covered within this qualification are: preparation, control the entry, exit and movement of people, monitor spectators and deal with crowd problems, support the work of the team and organisation, managing conflict and dealing with accidents and emergencies.
How long will it take me to achieve this qualification?
The qualification requires from 85 guided learning hours.
How is the qualification assessed?
Through a portfolio of evidence which is put together during the course and demonstrates the learner has met the required assessment criteria.
Learners successfully completing this qualification may wish to progress to further qualifications, such as:
- Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety
- Level 4 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety Management
- Licence to Practice qualifications e.g. Door Supervision or Security Guarding
